Description
Notes From John
An open-chord strum part with capo 1, swung at BPM = 141 in G shapes. Ringing G, Bm and C chords in the intro and verses, triplet strums on D, swung down-up strumming through the choruses, and a final G.
For the player
Let the verse chords ring for their full length, then switch to the triplet strums on D without rushing them. The choruses turn into a swung down-up pattern, so ride each gear change from ringing to strumming and back. At BPM = 141 the job is the feel.
