After the fermata bar for “All aboard!…” the guitar rests, then plays an F#5 marked “distortion”, an open-string chord marked “feedback” and a P.S. into Guitar In at 0:18, where the riff runs in eighths on the low strings over F#5, A, E and D. The Verses and Re-Intros pedal on the open A under E/A and D/A shapes, marked “slight P.M.” with “(continue P.M.s)”, with “let ring” over some A bars and an eight-note pull-off figure into Verse 1. The Choruses move to F#5, D5, A5 and E5 shapes, with “Harm.” and “wammy bar down/up” printed, P.M. on some bars, and fills with pull-offs and bends marked “full”, including a climb up the neck in nine-note groups at the end of the second Chorus. The Bridge plays F#5, A5, E5 and D5 shapes with P.M., and under the Solo the part holds chords down the changes from F#5 through E5, D5, C#5, B5, A and G#5.
