Description
Notes From John
An electric piano part in A flat at BPM = 155. Bells frame the intro and outro, the verses punch short chords, and it ends on a held chord.
For the player
Miley’s 2007 cut for Disney Channel Holiday runs faster than Brenda Lee’s original. The verse chords are short and accented, so keep them tight and bouncy, and let the bells ring in the intro. Ride the downbeat. At BPM = 155 the job is the feel.
