Transcribing Notes From John Neil (Head Transcriber)
Enemy – Imagine Dragons & JID – Song Breakdown
Keyboard
This song consists of mainly synthesizers and drum machine (or plugin). There are a few parts that sound like guitar too. I did my best to put all the synth sounds together into 1 part, and made a note of what each sound is. With some finagling (and lots of equipment), it should be able to be pulled off. But if you don’t have the exact sounds, similar sound(s) will work.

Lead Guitar
This part does what sounds like actual guitar that plays periodically through the song. It uses a clean sound with reverb for the most part. I also had it do some backing vocal parts in the pre-choruses.

Rhythm Guitar
This part is what sounds like a guitar with palm mute throughout the song, or it could be synth. But it will work with guitar.

Strum Guitar
There is no strum guitar in this song, so a part was made up.

Bass
Being a nearly (or totally) synth-only song, the bass is done with a couple of sounds – there is a sharp attack from a bright synth (with reverb), and a more sustained sound from a dark muted sort of synth sound. The bass guitar does mainly the bright attack synth, so playing with a pick would work best. In the choruses it also does a part that fades in each note from nothing, which can be done with the volume knob or a pedal. There are also some parts with distortion.
