Angel – Drop Nineteens – Song Breakdown

This consists of the higher/lower guitar line, and long guitar solo from the Bridge to the end. In the choruses, I have it playing what it sounds like in an AI isolated track I found online. The higher/lower guitar line has little gaps between the notes, but not enough to call it all staccato (indicated).

A very interesting rhythm guitar part that seems to consist of many tracks, which may be playing different things. It’s also doused in reverb, making it hard to pick out exactly what’s going on. The voicings I came up with seem to hit all the notes, as well as the positioning in live performances, in which it’s played a little different than how it sounds in the recording.Also, what the guitar plays doesn’t always match up to the bass, particularly in the outro, which makes for more colorful chords.
