Transcribing Notes From John Neil (Head Transcriber)
Mine – Taylor Swift – Song Breakdown
Melody
A song that tells a story of the ups and downs of young love, with the wide range of G3 to D5.

Keyboard
There are quite a few different keyboard sounds going on, with the main ones being organ and electric piano. I put as many in as physically possible with one player.

Lead Guitar
As with so many other songs, there are more than 2 electric guitars in the recording, so I arranged it into a 2-guitar song. This one also has acoustic guitar (more intricate than a strum) through verse 1 which I gave to the Rhythm guitar.

Rhythm Guitar
Some of the strums specify certain strings, but this can be more of a guideline, especially as some parts are a couple (or few) guitars put together into 1 part.

Strum Guitar
There is a strum guitar part, which I tabbed out as is, except for making it basic guitar chords, and more rhythmic in parts like 93-95 where there is a sustained acoustic. I (loosely) based the strum pattern on the 2nd acoustic guitarist (not Taylor) live on Letterman, which of course is not shown half the time, but there seemed to be a pattern.

Bass
A bass part with lots of movement and slides, played with the fingers. It also gets pretty high on the neck. All in all a nice part that holds the song together.
