Transcribing Notes From John Neil (Head Transcriber)
Señorita – Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello
Melody
A song that took months to come together, with Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello deciding to do it, not to do it, etc. I wrote out both female and male vocal parts. The female range comes to G3-D5, and the male range is A2-G4.

Keyboard
This is a combination of the keyboard parts I could hear, the low synth bass (which could be bass pedals, or a keyboard), backing vocals, and some of the guitar.

Lead Guitar
Other than the intro/outro melody, his part pretty much doubles the bass throughout, except for some high lines in the chorus which I heard (mainly by changing the phasing on one channel and putting it into mono, which cancels out everything in the middle of the stereo spectrum). This part is played palm muted through the entire song.

Rhythm Guitar
This is the main acoustic guitar part, which holds the song together. It features lots of picking and chucks.

Strum/Ukulele
There isn’t really a strumming guitar or Ukulele part in this recording, so I made up a part that follows the basic groove of the rhythm guitar.

Bass
A very melodic latin part that utilizes higher notes as well as lower notes. It sounds like it is played with a pick.
