From what I can hear, the drums in this recording consist of a sample loop, drum kit, & overdubbed toms and shaker. So I put in what I could and what seems most prominent. There is also what sounds like an electronic low tom added in too, in parts, which makes it sound like more bass drum – which I put into verse 3 & 4 where it seemed to pop out, and kept the choruses more simple. In the bridge, where the toms are out for a while, I switched the feel to highlight the shaker more (played with hi-hat)
